The session chairperson will introduce you and also agree with you and other presenters in your session the most appropriate format for taking questions. We will keep STRICTLY to time and you will be given notice at 3 minutes and 1 minute before your scheduled time is up.

If you have not already done so, please do ensure that you register to attend ascilite2014. We cannot guarantee that your paper will appear in the published proceedings if you do not register to attend the conference.

Please do check the programme ahead of time to ensure that you know when and where you are scheduled to give your presentation. If for any reason you are unable to present at your allocated time please email firstname.lastname@example.org before the conference or notify the registration desk staff during the conference.
We recommend visiting the room in which you will be presenting, either before the first morning sessions or during the tea or lunchtime breaks, to familiarise yourself with the presentation equipment and to check that your presentation is correctly loaded.

The lecture theatre and all 6 seminar rooms will be utilised for ascilite2014.
Uploading your presentation files
Staff will be on hand in all the presentation rooms to assist you to access and check your presentations.
If you would like to provide a link to your presentation files for conference delegates to be listed on the final website programme please email the link to email@example.com (subject PRESENTATION_FILES).
Sharing practice only:If there is any change to the technical requirements you specified in your sharing practice submission please let us know as soon as possible by email to firstname.lastname@example.org (subject SPSUPPORT).
The poster session is scheduled as the final session on the first day of ascilite2014, Monday 24th November. The draft programme is available here: http://ascilite2014.otago.ac.nz/preliminary-programme/.
Delegates must bring a hard copy of their poster for display in the poster session. Posters will be displayed in the main foyer and atrium area of the St David complex and we recommend leaving your poster up for the duration of the conference. Delegates will be having tea and lunch breaks close to this area so this is a great opportunity to share your work with colleagues.

Velcro dots are available from the main registration desk for you to mount your poster from Sunday onwards – feel free to use your own as well. You should mount your poster on the board with your poster number.
Please ensure that your poster is mounted on the correct board ready for the Monday afternoon poster session which starts at 4:30.
Staff will be on hand in the foyer and atrium areas to assist with mounting posters during Sunday 23rd and Monday 24th. If you have any questions, concerns or requests on the day, do check with them.
If you would like to make your poster available in digital form during the conference and from the conference website, please upload it to your own cloud-based storage service (e.g. Box or DropBox) and email a link to the poster (subject POSTERLINK).
